Privacy policy

In short

PTG500 doesn't track you. There are no analytics, no advertising, no accounts and no cookies set by this site. The site does show information about competitors, taken from the race organisers' public documents, and you can ask us to correct or remove yours.

Visiting the site

We don't use analytics, tracking pixels or cookies, and we don't store anything in your browser.

Like any website, our hosting provider receives technical information when you load a page (such as your IP address, browser and the page requested) and may keep it in server logs for security and to keep the site running. We don't use these logs to identify or profile visitors.

Content from other services

Some pages load content from third parties, who receive your IP address when they do:

  • Google Maps: the map on a race's Details tab is embedded from Google Maps, which may set its own cookies. See Google's privacy policy.
  • YouTube: video thumbnails are loaded from YouTube. Videos themselves open on YouTube, under Google's privacy policy.
  • Images: race posters, logos and photos are hosted on Cloudinary, our image provider. Most are fetched through our server; a few, such as the 3D bike viewer's background, are loaded by your browser straight from Cloudinary. See Cloudinary's privacy policy.

Information about competitors

Race pages show entry lists, results and championship standings. These come from the official documents that race organisers and federations publish (entry lists, results and standings), and may include a competitor's name, race number, licence number, nationality, team, vehicle and results. Some classes are for young riders, and their names appear in those documents too.

We publish this because results are public sporting information that fans and competitors look for. We keep copies of the source documents so the results can be checked against the originals.

If you're a competitor (or a parent or guardian of one) and want your details corrected or removed, email bruno@brunosquared.com. We'll act on it without asking you to justify the request.

Contacting us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use them only to reply. We don't add you to any list.

Your rights

You can ask us what information about you appears on the site, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted, by emailing bruno@brunosquared.com. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. In Portugal that's the CNPD.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
